
Born in Manhattan, New York, Mrs. Falan Taylor is no stranger to food and the business of satisfying others, starting with their stomachs. Falan is a third-generation cook; her mother and grandmother taught cooking and catering to make a living for their families.
Falan realized at the tender age of 15 that not only was her heart in this field, she was going to do whatever she could to live out her and her predecessors' dream.
In July 1999, she moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she met her eventual husband, Tim. They married in 2001on her 17th birthday and his military career carried them to Sicily, Italy in 2002, where she began her formal training. In Spring 2004, she dedicated Personal Chef services to active duty military members. Their tremendous work schedules prevented them during the day from having the nutritional meals that they required to maintain proper readiness. She managed her business until her seventh month of pregnancy with her first child, Timani, born October 15, 2004.
Mrs. Taylor graduated from the School of Gourmet Cooking and Catering in Winter 2004. She obtained the skill that paved her way in the gourmet food profession. Falan is also a member of the American Culinary Federation National Chapter.She hopes to have her new Web Series Housewife Cuisine on The Food Network someday.
